THE STRUCTURE OF THE PARTNERSHIP
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of the Partnership. It consists of one representative of each registered member of the Partnership in good standing.

Board Members
Dr. Eric Kwabena Agbozo
Board Chairman
Dr. Eric Kwabena Agbozo is a seasoned development leader, social entrepreneur, and founding member of the Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health with over two decades of multifaceted leadership experience. Holding a doctorate in Business and Management, he serves as Executive Director of DAAPU and the JAPP Foundation, bringing to the board proven expertise in health governance, TB/HIV advocacy, agribusiness development, and domestic resource mobilization.
Dr. Nyonuku Akosua Baddoo
Vice Chair (Academia Rep)
Dr. Nyonuku Akosua Baddoo is a Senior Public Health Physician Specialist at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana Medical School, and a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians. Former Head of Clinical Care for Ghana’s National AIDS/STI Control Program and a consultant for the WHO, UNAIDS, and the Global Fund, she brings to the board deep expertise in HIV/TB policy, clinical governance, and community health education.
Dr. Bernard Ziem
Public Sector Rep. (PM, NTP)
Dr. Bernard Ziem is the Acting Programme Manager for the National TB Control Programme at the Ghana Health Service. A medical doctor holding an MBChB and a Master’s in International Health, he leads Ghana’s national tuberculosis control, case detection, and policy implementation efforts, bringing to the board critical expertise in public health administration, community screening initiatives, and domestic health financing strategies.
Mr. Samuel Asiedu Agyei
Private Sector Rep
Samuel Asiedu Agyei is an internationally recognized public health leader, vector control consultant, and award-winning “Zero Malaria Champion.” Formerly the Programme Director of AngloGold Ashanti Malaria Control Limited (AGAMAL) and M&E Director for NetsforLife®, Samuel brings to the board deep expertise in large-scale disease elimination strategies, monitoring and evaluation, and high-impact public-private partnerships across Africa.
Mr. Isaac Kekesi Defoe
Board Member (CSO)
Isaac Kekesi Defoe is an environmental sustainability and climate policy expert affiliated with WASCAL and the Executive Director of the Foundation for Environmental Watch (FEW). A dedicated member of the Stop TB Partnership Ghana—with FEW serving as an active implementing partner—Isaac brings extensive experience in environmental health, climate adaptation, and civil society governance to provide strategic leadership and cross-sectoral oversight on the board.
Madam Jane Amerley Oku
Board Member (CSO)
Madam Jane Amerley Oku is a seasoned grassroots advocate, community leader, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Janok Foundation.A key implementing partner of the Stop TB Partnership Ghana, she brings to the board extensive hands-on expertise in community-level TB and HIV/AIDS screening, health volunteer mobilization, urban sanitation, and public health equity across vulnerable urban communities.
Madam Deborah Dzifa Gavi
Board Member (CSO)
Deborah Dzifa Gavi is a community development advocate and the Executive Director of Homes Fountain.As active members of the Stop TB Partnership Ghana and the Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health, Deborah and her organization have led impactful grassroots TB educational campaigns and screening initiatives. She brings to the board deep expertise in civil society leadership, community health advocacy, and regional program delivery across the Volta Region and beyond.
REGIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES
As an extension of the General Assembly, Regional and District structures are responsible for regional and district-level activities. It consists of members within each region where Stop TB members are operating. The Regional Committees are governed by 4 elected CSOs, 1 Academia, 1 Private Sector, and the Regional TB Focal Person (Public Sector). Officers of each Regional Executive Committee are the Chairpersons, the Vice-Chairpersons, Secretary, Financial Secretary and Organizing Secretary.
STANDING COMMITTEES
The Standing Committees assist the National Executive and the Secretariat in the performance of its functions and other duties. Each of the Committees is made up of five members who are also representatives from the Partnership’s members. The Standing Committees comprise of the following:

THE SECRETARIAT
The Secretariat runs the day-to-day business of the Partnership and coordinates its activities. The head of the Secretariat is the Executive Secretary, who reports to the Board.
Apostle Dr. David Kwesi Afreh
Executive Consulting Secretary
Apostle Dr. David Kwesi Afreh is a respected minister, public health advocate, and development leader.As the Executive Consulting Secretary of the Stop TB Partnership Ghana (and formerly its National Chairman), he heads the Partnership’s Secretariat, spearheading strategic leadership, national coalition coordination, high-level policy advocacy, and domestic resource mobilization to accelerate tuberculosis elimination across the country.
Shei Adam
Head of Monitoring & Evaluation
Shei Adam is the Head of Monitoring and Evaluation at the Stop TB Partnership Ghana, where he also oversees IT infrastructure and multimedia operations. Combining technical expertise in data systems and digital communications with public health monitoring, he leads performance tracking, data quality assurance, and digital reporting frameworks to optimize programme impact and strengthen the visibility of national tuberculosis interventions across Ghana.
Nana Mark Aboagye III
Head of Finance and Administration
Nana Mark Aboagye is a finance and risk management professional serving as the Head of Finance and Administration at the Stop TB Partnership Ghana. Holding an MSc in Financial Risk Management, a BSc, and an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Finance—with prior financial leadership experience at Letshego Ghana—he oversees the Secretariat’s fiscal governance, grant management, and operational efficiency. He also serves as a traditional chief in the Apesokubi Traditional Area.
